After the game 6 loss, the Blue Jays announced that they would be going with Max Scherzer as their starter for game 7.

Dodgers announce that Shohei Ohtani will start game 7

The Blue Jays will have a tough task ahead of them for game 7 once again as the Dodgers have announced that Shohei Ohtani will be their starting pitcher on a short rest.
The Dodgers current plan is to start Shohei Ohtani on short rest.
The matchup for game 7 will now be a massive one as the long time veteran and one of the best pitchers of his era, Max Scherzer will be facing off against the new number 1 in Ohtani.

Game 7
Ohtani last pitched on October 28th in game 4 in which the Blue Jays won as he gave up 6 hits, 4 earned runs and struck out 6 batters in Toronto 6-2 win.
This might end up working out for Toronto as Ohtani will be coming off only a few days rest and the last time they faced him they ended up producing quite a bit of offense.
Even with just a bit of rest, Ohtani is considered by many as the best pitcher in the MLB which is why the Blue Jays will not be taking him lightly even if they faced him a few days ago.
