Spoke with Eric Lauer. He's handling it well and believes he'll be back in the #BlueJays' rotation the next time through.
It seems his start day overlapping with Bieber's was just the main factor.
«It's going to be interesting. I'm glad I'm not the one making the decisions"
The Blue Jays signed Lauer to a minor league deal in the off-season and he has been one of the biggest surprises on the team as he has been dominant since being called up in late April.
As the playoffs approach, many believe that Jose Berrios should be given a break because his ironman streak has clearly taken a toll on his body which is why he is struggling.
The good news is that Lauer does not seem to hurt by the news and is being a team player about the decision.
