Former beloved Toronto Blue Jays all-star Kevin Pillar makes heartbreaking announcement

At the beginning of June, the Rangers announced that they have decided to DFA Pillar which results in him being unclaimed followed by being released by the team and re-entering free agency.

Former Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar was on the Foul Territory podcast this afternoon which is when he decided to make the big announcement that he is finally calling it a career after 13 seasons.

Pillar bounced around quite a bit during the second half of his career but while it Toronto he was one of the most popular players on the team not for being the most skilled but for leaving it all on the field.

The former Jay has spent some time on the MLB network and will likely find himself a position in media as fans clearly love to hear his point of view on the game and he definitely has the experience to back it.
