In terms of baseball podcasts, Foul Territory is the biggest and adding a former player like Pillar to their roster will only make the show even more interesting with all of his insight.
Blue Jays fans will surely be tuning in a lot more now to listen to a player that was a massive part of the organization for many years and even after leaving has continued to praise the city.
Pillar spent 6 and a half season in Toronto with his best year coming in 2018 when he finished with 15 homeruns and 59 RBIs in 142 games but will always be remembered for his defensive plays.
Even though Pillar has not joined the Blue Jays broadcast team after all, he will surely be following his former team closely as they continue to dominate the AL East.
The Blue Jays take on the Miami Marlins tonight at 7:10 PM with Shane Bieber making his debut.
