Former Blue Jays catcher lands new manager job

Former Toronto Blue Jays catcher Gregg Zaun has landed himself a new job as a manager with the Kelowna Falcons.
Gregg Zaun lands new job as manager of the Kelowna Falcons
Following his playing career, Zaun spent a few years in broadcast then turn towards coaching in 2023 where he landed his first job with the Glacier Range Riders of the Pioneer League.
Since then, Zaun has bounced around quite a bit over the last few years and has now landed the job as the manager of the Kelowna Falcons in the West Coast League.
Wednesday afternoon, come meet our new head coach, former Toronto Blue Jay, Gregg Zaun!
Zaun also made one of his first moves as the new managers of the Falcons as he brought in one of his former teammates and former Blue Jay Josh Towers to be the pitching coach.

The Kelowna Falcons have added pitching coach Josh Towers to the coaching staff for the 2026 season as new manager Gregg Zaun continues to build his bench coaches.
Towers is a former MLB pitcher with the Toronto Blue Jays and enjoyed an eight-year career
During his 16 year career, Zaun played for the
Blue Jays for 5 years, with his best season coming in 2005 when he finished with 11 homeruns and 61 RBIs.
It will be interesting to see if this new job with the Falcons ends up leading Zaun back into the MLB.
