Former Blue Jays pitcher Erik Swanson gets into argument online with Sid Sexeiro over the Blue Jays
Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Erik Swanson has not been with the team since being released in June but that did not stop him from defending his former team online after questionable comments from Sid Seixeiro.
The Blue Jays announce back in June that they decided to part ways with Swanson as they first DFA'd him then ended up releasing him to free agency a few days later.

Sexeiro has been making quite a few headlines lately for his comments on social media regarding the Blue Jays that not too many fans agree with.
The latest controversial post came in regards to the Blue Jays putting Tyler Heineman on the mound when they were getting blown out by the Kansas City Royals in which he said was a insult to the catcher.
Tyler Heineman's been an incredible solider for the Jays all season and has earned their trust. To the point where he got the assignment to catch Trey Yesavage's first start instead of Alejandro Kirk.

While Swanson did not reply much to the lenthy post from Sexeiro, his point was understood as he clearly did not agree with the comments as most did not and made sure it was known.

Blue Jays fans flooded Swanson's reply section agreeing with Swanson's opinion as Sexeiro is far from liked these days by fans in Toronto.
Since being released back in June by the Blue Jays, Swanson has not been doing much as he has been surprisingly unable to land himself a new deal over the long stretch.
