Former Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Miguel Cairo has found himself a new job with the Baltimore Orioles.
There has been a few former Blue Jays accepting new coaching positions so far this off-season as former catcher Greg Zaun was recently hired as the new manager of the Kelowna Falcons as well.

The Orioles made some big changes to their coaching staff after the 2025 season due to a disappointing year in which they decided to take a step in a new direction by hiring Craig Albernaz as their new manager.
The Baltimore Orioles will reportedly name Craig Albernaz as their new manager, per multiple reports including MLB Network insider

Albernaz spent the last two seasons on Cleveland's coaching staff as bench coach and associate manager.

Albernaz spent the last two seasons on Cleveland's coaching staff as bench coach and associate manager.
As one of Albernaz' first moves as manager, he decided to bring in Cairo to be the new major league infield coach after spending the last couple of years as the Washington Nationals bench coach.
Miguel Cairo is heading to Baltimore - the Orioles are hiring him as their major league infield coach, per reports.

Cairo only spent one season with the Blue Jays back in his first MLB season in 1996 where he saw action in 9 games, finishing with 0 home runs and 1 RBI before being traded to the Chicago Cubs.
It will be interesting to see if Cairo and Albernaz can help turn the Orioles back around after a rough last season.
