Yarbrough had a 4.36 ERA last season in 19 games (8 starts) with the Yankees
The
Blue Jays ended up releasing Yarbrough during Spring Training last season when the two parties could not come to an agreement regarding his role on the team for the upcoming season.
While fans were upset when he was let go, they clearly made the right move as their bullpen looked a lot better without him in 2025 than it did in 2024.
Yarbrough did not spend much time in Toronto as he was acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024 in exchange for Kevin Kiermaier in which he played in 12 games before he was released in March 2025.
