Former Toronto Blue Jays player Cavan Biggio is officially done with the Atlanta Braves

Former Toronto Blue Jays player Cavan Biggio is officially no longer with the Atlanta Braves as he has elected for free agency and will attempt to find a new deal.
The 2024 was rough for Biggio to say the least as his time was spread across four different organizations and he will now have to look for a new team which will not be easy with the season he had.

Biggio is now a free agent and will look to find a contract for the 2025 season but will likely end up signing a minor league deal after his brutal 2024 season which spanned across the Toronto Blue Jays San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves.
Biggio was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays earlier this season then traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. He played in 30 games for Los Angeles, hitting just .192. However, he's also likely to get a World Series ring out of the experience. In addition to Los Angeles, he also spent time in the minors for the San Francisco Giants before getting to Atlanta. -Farkas

The former Blue Jay has a big hill to climb if he plans on playing in the major leagues again since he never lived up to his potential. Biggio came in as a top end prospect which is why he will likely be able to land a minor league deal this off-season but is certainly running out of chances.
Biggio is now 29 years old, so he's still got some athletic prime left. Given his former prospect status, he's likely to get another chance this offseason, but he will almost certainly have to settle for a minor league pact. -farkas
