Toronto Blue Jays veteran George Springer has been having a phenomenal season and has not made history for his run over the last 45 games achieving an accomplishment only Babe Ruth and Lou Gherig.

Springer recently returned from IL and picked up right where he left off from as he has been a crucial piece to the Blue Jays offense this season.

The only other MLB players to reach all of those numbers over a 45-game span in a single season are Babe Ruth (1920) & Lou Gehrig (1931).
This accomplishment proves how incredible Springer has been this season as it has been almost 100 years since the last time this was accomplished.
So far this season, Springer has 26 homeruns, 71 RBIs, a .305 batting average and .396 on base percentage all in 117 games.
