The World Series has concluded over a week ago, meaning it's time to turn the attention to the GM meetings in Las Vegas, and the Toronto Blue Jays seem to be more aggressive than ever in improving their team especially their pitching rotation.

The World Series berth has boosted the confidenceof Ross Atkins and the head office, and there is a different buzz surrounding the Blue Jays when it comes to free agency.

Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reported on the demeanour of the Blue Jays in Vegas, showing they aren't there to be passive, they want to win and they want to win now. They know they're a hot landing spot right now and they want to maximize it to the fullest.
"One prominent agent believes the American League champions will find a more receptive audience for their pitches this winter, too, having shown the baseball world how success looks north of the border. Baseball tends to have «a pack mentality,» said the agent, and between seeing players succeed with the Blue Jays, the enthusiasm from fans Canada-wide and positive reviews of the team's facilities, «it should be easier for them to get players» this off-season."-Davidi

The Blue Jays desperately need to reinforce their starting pitcher rotation, they need an ace as it was the one criticism of their team last year, and they are most likely losing some pitchers this offseason like Max Scherzer and Chris Bassitt. Furthermore if they are going to lose Bo Bichette, they have a lot of money to spend on the mound, and it's going to attract all the top free agents.
"Club president and CEO Mark Shapiro last week called their 2025 spending - which ranked fifth at a projected $280 million for Competitive Balance Tax purposes according to Spotrac - a «championship-calibre payroll,» and added that «we've had an unprecedented level of support, and I don't see that support going backwards at all.»-Davidi

The Blue Jays have all the tools and the swagger going into this offseason to replicate another amazing season. All it takes is Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro making the smart decisions needed to put an even better team out next season than this season.
