The Toronto Blue Jays announce some promising news regarding Anthony Santander and his recovery which is finally coming to an end.
The Blue Jays expected Santander to begin his rehab assignment on Tuesday but after dealing some pain in his back, they decided to delay his start by a few days.

News broke this morning that Santander will finally begin his rehab assignment tonight with the Bisons.

According to multiple reports, Santander is expected to DH for his first few games then will get a few games under his belt in the outfield before finally returning to the Blue Jays lineup.

Once the Blue Jays decide to activate Santander, they will need to make a very difficult decision in deciding who they will option down to Triple-A or DFA to make room on the roster.
This could end up being a very costly move for the Blue Jays right before the playoffs because if Santander plays like he did earlier this season, they will be in trouble.
