Isiah Kiner-Falefa had his first big game back with the Toronto Blue Jays last night with the game tying hit against the Houston Astros and after the game took a shot at the Pittsburgh Pirates during his post-game interview.
After the game, Kiner-Falefa spoke with reporters after the game stating that he went to Pittsburgh in hopes of moments like this but that everything comes full circle.
Isiah Kiner-Falefa says he feels like tonight was «meant to be» after his time with the Pirates and coming back to the #BlueJays
«I visualized it walking up to the plate. I was like I went to Pittsburgh for this hit right here. It's all come full circle.»
Kiner-Falefa added that he is very happy to be back with the Toronto Blue Jays organization and that he is thankful that the organization is such a big believer of his.
More from Isiah Kiner-Falefa after today's win, back with the #BlueJays once again:
«This is why I signed in Toronto the first time. To get that opportunity to get the big hit, I'm just so happy to be back ... I'm thankful for this organization for being my biggest believer.»
Many were wondering why the Blue Jays took a chance on bringing him back but with Bichette out for at least the next week, the move is looking better by the minute.
