Jamie Campbell announces touching update regarding his battle with cancer

Toronto Blue Jays broadcaster Jamie Campbell has been very vocal about his battle with cancer over the last few years and announced a touching message involving NHL legend Paul Henderson.
Over the years, Campbell has gone above and beyond to support those that went through a similar battle as he earlier this season he announced that a Jays fan named Ethan Timmers that went through a similar experience was cancer free.

Campbell took to social media to post a message regarding Henderson as he apparently helped him quite a bit throughout his battle with leukemia.
In the post, Campbell admitted to being very scared when he was first diagnosed but then found some comfort when he found out Henderson was living with a similar diagnosis for multiple years and Campbell thanked him in person yesterday.

Fans reached out to Campbell after the post was made stating that he played a similar role for them during since sharing his story helped them realize that they are not alone facing these terrible illnesses either.

Campbell is truly loved in the city of Toronto and all around Canada not only for being a great host on Blue Jays Central but for all he does outside of work as he is involved in multiple foundations and is always trying to help others.
