Former Philadelphia Eagles Centre Jason Kelce went viral from a clip on his podcast yesterday in which he mocked the World Series and the Toronto Blue Jays.
People do not seem to be happy with the Blue Jays making it to the World Series as multiple fans and even players such as New York Yankees pitcher Cam Schlittler had made some uncalled-for comments to the team.
Jason Kelce mocks the Blue Jays
During a recent episode of New Heights, the Kelce brother podcast, the two discussed the World Series in which Travis had some big praises for both teams stating that it was an awesome 7 game series.
Travis was quick to praise the series as an “awesome seven games of baseball;” however, Jason had other thoughts on the series that wrapped up less than a week ago at Rogers Centre in Toronto. -Shantz
Jason on the other hand, was a lot less impressed making some unusual comments about the Blue Jays stating that he does not know he is expected to get excited about a team from Canada.
“You're telling me I'm supposed to get excited about a Canadian baseball team?” -Kelce
The former Eagles center did not stop there as he bashed the Los Angeles Dodgers as well and just the World Series overall stating that fans should not be excited when the team that spends the most money and is expected to win ends up winning.
“It's exciting that the team that spent the most money and everybody knew was going to win the World Series won the World Series?” he said. “Everybody knew this was going to happen before the season. We just had a bunch of meaningless s- happen before it and then it happened. So, yeah, no baseball's not getting my stamp.” -Kelce
Blue Jays sideline reporter Hazel Mae was clearly not impressed by the comments as she replied to the viral post stating that it was a disappointing comment.
“Wow. What a disappointing comment,” -Mae
Clearly Jason Kelce is not a baseball fans but his take on the World Series is certainly off especially when looking at the numbers of viewers and all the viewership records that were broken this post-season.
