Joey Loperfido injury update: Blue Jays announce results of his X-Rays
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Joey Loperfido went down yesterday and the team announced an update on his x-Rays after the game.
Loperfido left the game yesterday after a tough injury in which he took a 98MPH fastball to the inside of his right knee resulting in him leaving the game in the 6th inning.

After the Blue Jays 10-4 win over the Rockies last night, manager John Schneider spoke to the media to give an update on Loperfido's current status.
Schneider stated that the X-Rays came back negative for a fracture so for the time they are considering it a right knee contusion.

X-rays negative for fracture, said John Schneider.
The good news for Toronto is that Loperfido did not end up fracturing anything but after taking a pitch like that to the knee, he will surely be out for at least a short period of time.
After the game, teammate Jeff Hoffman posted a picture of Loperfido in good spirits eating a chicken parm in the clubhouse which is definitely a good sign that the injury is not too bad.
Hopefully Loperfido will not be out too long as he has been one of the Blue Jays best hitters lately as he currently has 3 homeruns and 10 RBIs in 24 games this season with a .389 batting average.
