Jose Berrios more than just an amazing pitcher

As we celebrate Earth day, we look back at the great work Blue Jays pitcher Jose Berrios did last December as he spent a day planting tries in his home country with Francis Lindor and Javier Baez.
Francisco Lindor, Javier Báez, and José Berríos are doing their part for the planet.

Berrios is a phenomenal pitcher and has been on fire this year as he is currently on a 21.2 scoreless innings streak and has an 0.85 ERA.
The Puerto Rican pitcher is clearly much more than just a baseball player as he took time out of his off-season to help his home country by planting trees and cleaning up the forest. This small gestures shows fans how even though these players are MLB all-stars, they are never too big to help better their home.
These actions showed that Berrios might be great on the field but he also a great person off of it as well.
