The Toronto Blue Jays fans are desperately waiting to find out if George Springer will be in the lineup for game 6 against the Seattle Mariners.

The Blue Jays announced yesterday that Springer had CT scans done as well that also confirmed that there was no structural damage to his knee.

George Springer is expected to be in the lineup for game 6

Manager John Schneider told reporters yesterday evening that Springer is doing a lot better and is still getting treatment on his knee done in hopes of being able to play in game 6 tonight.
«He's getting treatment, he's going to be doing some stuff here in a little bit, probably moving around,» manager John Schneider said near 5:30 p.m. ET Saturday. «But feeling a lot better than he did yesterday.» -Schneider

Schneider added that he just needs the team doctors to tell him that he is good to go and Springer will be in the lineup, adding that he has battled through a lot of his career and that is nothing new for him.
«Just tell me he's good to go, and he's good to go,» Schneider said. «George has played through a lot, probably more than you guys know this year, but over the course of his career, too. So just make sure that it's not bothering him swinging and not bothering him running. But he's a tough dude, so I'm hopeful and optimistic that he'll be good to go.» -Schneider

The Blue Jays late start time is also helping Springer as every extra hour at this point can help bring down the swelling in hopes of having him in the lineup for the game.
Surely, that knee is a different color right now, but this is going to be a matter of swelling and mobility for Springer ahead of Game 6 Sunday. Frankly, even the 8:03 p.m. ET start is good news for him and the Blue Jays. Every hour could help at this point. -Matheson

There is a high likelihood that Springer is DH once again if he is able to play as he has not played much defense throughout the playoffs this post-season.
The Blue Jays are expected to post their lineup for game 6 around 4:00 PM and fans are hoping to see Springer's name in the lead off spot.
