The Toronto Blue Jays have been on fire lately thanks to the full team effort but one of the biggest stand outs has been shortstop Bo Bichette.
Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette in second in hits in the MLB as of right now
Bichette had a phenomenal game yesterday despite the 10-4 loss to the Detroit Tigers, he finished the game going 5 for 5 with at the plate with two RBIs.
Damn Bo Bichette 5/5 game today!!
How much you think he's getting paid in the offseason?
This impressive game has now put Bichette at a total of 126 hits on the season in 2025 which ranks him second among all hitters in the MLB for most hits only behind New York Yankees Aaron Judge who has 129 hits.
Bo Bichette to lead the league in hits soon?
So far in 2025, Bichette has 13 homeruns, 65 RBIs to go along with an incredible .289 batting average and .329 on base percentage which is quite the step up from last year.
As Bichette continues to perform for the first place Blue Jays, he is starting to force their hand in re-signing him as it will be very difficult for them to land a player of the same caliber on the open market.
There is a good chance Bichette ends up being the hit leader for the 2025 season if he continues to play the way he has been.
