The Blue Jays announced that Joey Votto got called up to Triple-A yesterday and manager John Schneider gave some interesting details on the plan moving forward.
Fans have been wondering if Votto will play for the Blue Jays this season and according to Schneider there is a possibility if he continues to recover and perform.
Joey Votto «one step closer» to majors, Schneider said. Physical recovery and performance on field will determine what happens next.
Despite the Blue Jays being on the backend of the season, it appears as though Votto might actually have a chance at returning to the Majors.
