The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that they will be moving around their schedule to avoid conflicting schedules with the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday.

The Maple Leafs recently made headlines in the baseball world as they went above and beyond for Blue Jays fans as they put the game on their jumbotron for game 4 of the ALDS after the Leafs home opener was finished.

Maple Leafs change time for Monday Game to avoid conflict with the Blue Jays

On Monday, the Leafs were supposed to be playing a matinee game against the Detroit Red Wings at 4 PM for Canadian Thanksgiving but it looks like they have decided to change things up.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are set to host the Detroit Red Wings on Monday in a holiday matinee game. The start time will now be moved up by two hours. -Alter

The Blue Jays will be playing at either 4:38 PM or 5:03 PM on Monday depending on if the Milwaukee Brewers or the Chicago Cubs move onto the NLCS.
The Leafs announced on Friday that the game, originally scheduled for 4 p.m. ET , will now drop the puck at 2 p.m. in an effort to avoid a conflict with Game 2 of the American League Championship Series (ALCS), hosted by the Toronto Blue Jays. -Alter

The Leafs know that despite it being the start of the hockey season, the city of Toronto's main focus right now is on the Blue Jays who have a real chance of going to the World Series.
The first game of the ALCS will take place on Sunday night at the Rogers Centre with the first pitch at 8:03 PM.
