The Seattle Mariners biggest issue heading into the ALCS against the Toronto Blue Jays will be pitching but it looks like they plan on making a massive roster move ahead of start.

The Mariners announced this afternoon that they will have Bryce Miller on the mound for game 1 which had a lot of Blue Jays fans quite happy.

Mariners set to make big roster move ahead of ALCS

According to multiple reports, the Mariners are expected to add starting pitcher Bryan Woo to their 26 man roster tomorrow morning ahead of game 1.
Bryan Woo is also expected to be on Seattle's 26-man ALCS roster, according to sources, but will not be available for Game 1 in any capacity. -Kramer

Sources: Bryan Woo is expected to be on the Mariners' ALCS roster but will not available in any capacity in Game 1.

Bryce Miller, who is formally listed as an «available» pitcher for tomorrow, is expected to start on short rest.
Woo has been out since September 19th with a pectoral injury and missed the ALDS but it looks like there is a very good chance he is added to their ALCS roster tomorrow.
The club wants to go through another consultation with Woo on Saturday to see how he recovered after throwing an up-and-down bullpen session on Friday, as he continues to work back from pectoral inflammation. His bullpen was a positive step forward, but it's likely that the Mariners will want to see another throwing session of some sort before injecting him in a playoff game. -Kramer

This is not great news for the Blue Jays as Woo is a terrific pitcher as he finished with a 2.94 ERA this season in 186.2 innings pitched to go along with 198 strikeouts and a 15-7 record.
The Blue Jays will certainly have a tough matchup ahead whenever Woo makes his start this series.
