The #MNTwins have claimed RHP Thomas Hatch off waivers from the #Royals

He has a 4.22 ERA in 18 Triple-A starts this season
We have claimed RHP Thomas Hatch from the Kansas City Royals, he will be active for tomorrow night's game.
This move comes as a bit of a surprise since Hatch had an extremely tough time with the Royals in which he finished with a 18.00 ERA in only 1 inning pitched and has not pitched in the majors since 2023 prior to that.
The Twins clearly see something in Hatch plus with all of their recent moves made at the trade deadline, they need to find a way to add players because they have very little depth.
Hopefully Hatch will find a way to prove himself in Minnesota and land himself a permanent spot in their bullpen until the end of the season.
