The MLB announced quite the surprise for Toronto Blue Jays fans and they will be playing an exhibition game ahead of the World Baseball Classic.
The Blue Jays season has just finished but everyone is already looking for to the 2026 season as there has been a lot of talk about some big time deals in the works for Toronto.
Blue Jays will take on team Canada in an exhibition game
The Grapefruit League officially begins on February 21st in Dunedin as the Blue Jays will take on the Philadelphia Phillies for game 1 but it looks like they will be hosting quite the special game on March 3rd.
The MLB announced that the Blue Jays will take on team Canada on March 3rd in an exhibition game ahead of the World Baseball Classic.
The #BlueJays will play a WBC Exhibition Game against Team Canada on March 3rd in Dunedin, MLB announces.
The Blue Jays will not be the only MLB team facing off against a national team as they get ready for the WBC as almost every team will have an exhibition game against a national team during Spring Training.
Team Canada will have two exhibitions games, one against the Blue Jays on the 3rd and one against the Philadelphia Phillies on the 4th.
To prepare for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, there will be exhibition games on March 3-4 between MLB teams and national teams competing in the WBC.

The World Baseball Classic is then set to begin on March 5th and will go until March 17th.
