New update announced by the Toronto Blue Jays on Daulton Varsho and Alek Manoah
The Toronto Blue Jays announced this morning that both Alek Manoah and Daulton Varsho are set to play together for the Dunedin Blue Jays this afternoon.
Manoah was announced as the starter for the game today and it is expected to pitch at least two innings which is the main goal, once again not focusing on the results too much.

The Blue Jays have been patiently waiting for both Varsho and Manoah to return which it looks like both players are progressing as they will be playing together in Dunedin today.

This is big news for the Blue Jays especially when it comes to Varsho who seems to be rapidly approaching a return as this is now his third game on a rehab assignment.
The Blue Jays will likely send Varsho to Triple-A with the Buffalo Bisons for at least 1-2 games before they bring him back to the majors.
For Manoah, he likely still has some time before returning as he is only ramping up but the expected return date of mid-August is starting to look like a real possibility.
Hopefully both players have stellar games in Dunedin today and continue to progress towards a return in the coming weeks but it all comes down to how they feel after the game.
