During the Pittsburgh Pirates game against the Detroit Tigers, relief pitcher Dennis Santana got into a fight with a fan heckling him.
The Pirates season has been one big mess this season as they currently sit in last place of the National League Central division with a brutal 30-46 record even with Paul Skenes.

The Pirates actually won for a change yesterday against the Tigers 8-4 but the big story from the game is coming from the bullpen when relief pitcher Dennis Santana jumped up and threw a punch at a fan.
The fan was heckling Santana when he finally had enough and jumped up towards the fan in the stands and smacked him in the face.

This is quite the interesting situation that took place as it is not every day that an MLB pitcher decides to get into a fight with a fan before taking the field.
Santana ended up going into the game where he pitched for 0.1 innings, giving up zero hits, and striking out zero batters.
The closest a Blue Jays player ever got to fighting or hitting a fan was last season when Bo Bichette unfortunately struck a fan with a foul ball but apart from that, Toronto has yet to see a situation like the one that took place in Detroit last night.
