The Kansas City Royals announced that they have signed former Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Lane Thomas to a sizeable contract.
As the Blue Jays continue to stay quite on the free agent front over the last week, their former players are landing new deals as Mark Leiter Jr also signed a new deal with the Athletics yesterday.

The contract is a one year major league deal worth $5.25 million which is a sizeable amount when looking at his output last season.

Thomas was drafted by the Blue Jays back in 2014 but would end up getting traded to the St Louis Cardinals in 2017 in exchange for future considerations.
