The MLB announced their team power rankings and completely disrespected the Toronto Blue Jays as they did not get the number one spot.
The Blue Jays are officially the best team in terms of record in the MLB with their 63-43 record which many thought would mean their would be the top ranked team in the power rankings but that is not the case.

The team power rankings by the MLB were announced this afternoon in which to a big surprise, the Blue Jays were ranked 2nd and first place was given to the Chicago Cubs.

Fans were kick to vocalize how upset they were with these rankings as the Blue Jays just beat the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers in back to back series but apparently that did not deserve first place in the team power rankings.
the jays won both series last week against the yankees & tigers & mlb still found a way to not put them at number one on the power rankings, as expected
The Blue Jays have been the best team in baseball over the last month and also currently have the best record in the entire league which means they should be considered the best team as of right now but it does not seem that way.
The Cubs have been playing extremely well lately but it is hard to figure out how they can be placed ahead of Toronto.
