The Toronto Blue Jays announced some big news regarding Sportsnet and Apple TV as it look like they will be joining forces.
Sportsnet and Apple TV combining forces for Blue Jays game
The Blue Jays take on the Royal tomorrow night for Apple TV's Friday Night Baseball which only fans with subscriptions to the network can watch the game, which cost $9.99 a month.
It looks like Sportsnet and Apple TV have gotten together to discuss the siuations as news was announced not very long ago that both networks with broadcast the game which will give fans a chance to pick where they want to watch it.
@Sportsnet
& AppleTV with MLB have agreed to simulcast Friday night's
@BlueJays
game vs. Kansas City, so all fans can watch wherever they choose. Following Blue Jays Central at 7pm ET, Sportsnet will air AppleTV's production of the game.
Details:
The issue with this is that the Blue Jays need to win tonight which they are down 4-0 to the Tampa Bay Rays as of right now in the 8 inning.
If the Blue Jays lose, they need to the Cleveland Guardians to lose as well if they plan on still trying to clinch a playoff spot tomorrow.
Sportsnet paid Apple TV to host tomorrows game and if the Blue Jays lose today and the Guardians win they can't even clinch tomorrow
This is a very interesting situation that has taken place between Apple TV and Sportsnet for tomorrow night's game but it looks like it might all be for nothing.
