The Toronto Blue Jays World Series pandemonium has been spread all over Canada, but there is an incredible amount of support from the fans in Mexico, especially for Alejandro Kirk.
A mural has been made in his honour in his hometown of Tijuana, and the whole city is rallying around him and the Blue Jays.
Canada isn't the only country supporting the Blue Jays, Mexico is making noise too.
Adam Laskaris of the Daily Hive is covering all the excitement for the Blue Jays as they are one win away from the World Series, but the excitement is not only limited to up north, down in Mexico all the attention is on Kirk and how he is doing his hometown proud.
"Born in Tijuana, the 26-year-old catcher has been sensational throughout the postseason. A two-time All-Star, Kirk's five home runs in the playoffs are already fourth-most all-time by a Jays player, trailing only Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (seven), and Joe Carter and Jose Bautista (six each). Since making his MLB debut in 2020, Kirk has become a favourite of both fans and his fellow teammates."-Laskaris
He has become so popular that a mural has been made for him in Tijuana, showing how important he is to Mexico, and for the future of baseball in Mexico.

If the Blue Jays do win the World Series, it'll be not only interesting to see the parade and festivities in Canada, but in Mexico too, especially when Kirk goes back to celebrate in his home country. The Blue Jays are quickly becoming an important sports franchise, and that can only help them in the future.
