The Blue Jays have traded Justin Turner

Blue Jays Justin Turner was just traded in the middle of their game against the Orioles to Seattle.

Turner was pulled from the game in the second inning after getting a hit in his first plate appearance.

Since Turner was only on a 1 year deal, it was clear he would be moved before the deadline. The Blue Jays will be getting a 24 year old outfielder RJ Schrek.

24-year-old was taken in 9th round out of Vanderbilt last year. Was just promoted to AA. Hitting .250/.392/.444 in A+/AA this year with 12 HR in minors.
