The chances of Bethancourt playing in the MLB next season seem to be slim since he has not played at the major league level since 2024 but 24 of those games did come during his time with the Cubs which could help him this time around.
Last season Behtancourt spend the entire year in the minors after signing with the Blue Jays in the off-season then going onto play his entire year with the Buffalo Bisons.
During his time with the Bisons, Bethancourt finished with 7 home runs and 21 RBIs in 58 games to go along with a .173 batting average and .219 on base percentage.
Jays and Bisons fans wish Bethancourt nothing but the best as he tried to land himself a spot on the Cubs MLB roster.
