The Los Angeles Dodger walked away with a lot more than just a World Series win over the New York Yankees as the amount paid to each player has been announced.

According to reports from MLB insider Bob Nightengale, each player on the Dodgers that played a full postseason received $477,440.70 for winning the World Series against the Yankees.

On top of that, the Yankees players received quite a bit of money as well as they got $354,571.67 per player for winning the AL pennant, meaning they missed out on an more than $120,000 since they lost.
The Dodgers were paid $477,440.70 each full postseason share for winning the World Series.

The total postseason pool was worth a record $129.1 million.
The total postseason pool for the 2024 MLB World Series was a record breaking $129.1 million which was split between the Yankees and Dodgers.
This is an incredible amount of money no matter if you won or lost as each player walked away with more than $300,000 for making it all the way to the World Series.
One fans commented on Nightengale's post stating that he thinks it would be a good idea for the MLB to follow the same rules as the PGA and have the second place team get have the earnings of the World Series winner.
I think the payout should be more like PGA FedEx Cup payouts are - where the Champion gets $477,440.70 and 2nd place gets half that amount ($223,720.35). Thanks for the info, very much appreciated.
