The Toronto Blue Jays have paid little attention to Bo Bichette this offseason, instead their attention is turned to Kyle Tucker and Alex Bregman instead, with Ross Atkins also giving very little detail on negotiations with Bichette, do the Blue Jays just want to move on from him?

Bichette has even opted to play second base for any team that picks him up, so why is he getting little to no attention?

The Toronto Blue Jays might be done with Bo Bichette

Brady Farkas of Yahoo Sports reported on the lack of interest Bichette is receiving this offseason, it's not just the Blue Jays but every team seemingly.
The Blue Jays however, have every reason to bring him back based on his production this season, and that he is now willing to play second base but they seem to care more about landing Tucker.
"This is just my personal opinion, but I'd want Bichette back if I were the Jays. He hit .311 in an era where batting average is basically disregarded. A homegrown combo of Bichette and Guerrero is the kind of thing that organizations dream about. I wouldn't break that up, not for Bregman and not for Tucker, either."-Brady Farkas

It could be that they want Addison Barger at third and Ernie Clement at second base, with Angel Gimenez at shortstop. If they get Tucker he would help out the outfield more than Bichette would help the infield but Bichette's .311 batting average cannot be ignored.
"It's clear that Bichette is a valuable offensive player, coming off a .311 season with 18 homers and 94 RBIs. But, he's not regarded as a good defensive shortstop, so do the Jays want to push him to second base, Ernie Clement to third and keep Addison Barger in right? Do they like that alignment?"-Brady Farkas

Regardless of the configuration of the infield Bichette is not getting enough consideration. He has done a lot for the Blue Jays and deserves a fair negotiation. He is only 27 and an asset on any team, if the Blue Jays miss out on Tucker, they can easily miss out on Bichette for their lack of interest.
