The results of Bo Bichette's second opinion have been announced
The Toronto Blue Jays seem to have gotten some great news this afternoon as regarding Bo Bichette's second opinion.
The Blue Jays were starting to believe that Bichette might be done for the season as the first opinion and feeling in the clubhouse was that his knee was still in very bad shape.
Bo Bichette's result of second opinion announced
The Blue Jays stated that Bichette was currently in Dallas getting a second opinion on his knee and hopefully a timetable for his return.
According to insider Jon Morosi, the second opinion came back as a short term injury contrary to first beliefs, also if he continues to progress at this rate, it looks like he should be ready for the playoffs.
Source: 2nd opinion on Bo Bichette's left knee sprain has confirmed that the injury is (a) short-term and (b) expected to improve with rest and rehabilitation.
It's still possible that Bichette returns in time for the postseason; he last played on Sept. 6.

While nothing is set in stone, this is immensely encouraging news for the Blue Jays who were starting to think they would not have Bichette at all in the playoffs.
The Blue Jays need to keep playing well if they want to secure first place in the division and ensure that Bichette has a little extra time off before the playoffs begin for Toronto.
