The Toronto Blue Jays announced this afternoon that they have made a few roster moves as 4 players are headed down to the minor leagues.

The Blue Jays second round of cuts came two days ago when the team announced that 6 players had been sent down to minor league camp which surprisingly included Lazaro Estrada.

The Blue Jays announced late this afternoon that they have sent 4 players down to the minors as catcher Jacob Sharp, RHP Braydon Fisher and RHP Ryan Jennings have all been sent to minor league camp.

RHP Nick Robertson one the other hand has been optioned to Triple-A which will now open up a spot on the Blue Jays current 40 man roster which was complete up until this move.

ROSTER MOVES:

The following players have been reassigned to Minor League Camp.

RHP Braydon Fisher
RHP Ryan Jennings
C Jacob Sharp

Additionally, RHP Nick Robertson has been optioned to the Triple-A Buffalo roster.

RHP Nick Robertson has been optioned to AAA.

Out of the bunch, the most surprising move was that Robertson was optioned since he saw some time with the Blue Jays last season after being claimed off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels.

It will be interesting to see what the Blue Jays roster ends up looking like at the end of Spring Training.
