The Toronto Blue Jays announced last night that they have made their first round of cut in Spring Training and sent 8 players down to minor league camp.
The Blue Jays have been having a solid camp and despite a few injuries, things have been going well so far in Spring Training as the Blue Jays have now made their first round of cuts.

The Blue Jays have made their first round of cuts so far in camp as they announced a total of 8 players have been sent to minor league camps which included a few surprises.
The Blue Jays announced that pitcher Adam Macko has been optioned to Triple-A since he is currently recovering from surgery on his knee while Robert Brooks, Andres Sosa, Adam Kloffenstein, Charles McAdoo, Rainer Nunez, Addison Paulino and RJ Schreck have all been sent to minor league camp.

Additionally, LHP Adam Macko has been optioned to Triple-A Buffalo.
LHP Adam Macko has been sent to AAA Buffalo.
The most surprising cut of the bunch is Kloffenstein who actually has MLB experience and while no one expected him to make the team, most thought he would make it further into camp.
As Opening Day is only a few weeks away, the Blue Jays will likely make a lot more cuts in the coming days.
