The Toronto Blue Jays are still looking to find a way to make a big move this off-season and it looks like a blockbuster trade with the St Louis Cardinals for third baseman Nolan Arenado is a possibility.
The Blue Jays have been looking into bringing in an infielder this off-season that could also help offensively such as Alex Bregman but it looks like he has no interest in coming to Toronto which is why they might look towards Arenado.

The Blue Jays have had an extremely tough off-season as they have missed out on every top tier free agent they targeted and with the market being quite depleted, they are now looking at possible trades.
According to reports, the Blue Jays could be interested in a massive trade with the Cardinals in exchange for third baseman Nolan Arenado who St Louis has made it clear they are trying to move.
The Toronto Blue Jays already made one trade this winter, but another, much more significant trade could be on the horizon.
As they continue to strike out in their pursuit of top free agents, the Blue Jays have to be getting desperate. That could lead them to shift their focus to trading for St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado. -Roberts

The one issue here is that Arenado has a no move clause on his current contract and the Blue Jays are not among the few teams he has agreed to be traded to but that could always change.
The Blue Jays are not among the teams Arenado has initially indicated he'd accept a trade to. Those teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, San Diego Padres, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, and Boston Red Sox. -Roberts
While Arenado is not the superstar Blue Jays fans were hoping to get, if the Cardinals hold onto some of his salary, he could be a great option for the Blue Jays as he is still a very solid hitter and defender.
