The Blue Jays have wait a long time to get back on top as the best team in the MLB and they put all of their faith in Max Scherzer to get them there.

Toronto got off to a hot start against Shohei Ohtani as Bo Bichette came up to the plate and hit a three run homerun to give the Blue Jays a 3-0 lead.

The Blue Jays had a 4-2 lead going into the 8th inning when the Max Muncy hit a solo homerun to bring Toronto's lead down to just one.

The Blue Jays then brought in Jeff Hoffman to close things out and after a great start, he ends up giving up a solo homerun to Miguel Rojas to tie the game at 4-4.
Then, in the bottom of the 9th, the Blue Jays had a chance to win it with the bases loaded but were unable to get it done.
Will Smith ended up coming to the plate in the 11th inning and hitting a solo home run for the win.
The game then went to extra innings where the Dodgers were able to rally and win the World Series.
