Blue Jays announce Max Scherzer is expected to make his first start back against the Cleveland Guardians
The Blue Jays are set to take on the Cleveland Guardians in Toronto starting on Tuesday and according to manager John Schneider, if everything goes well for Scherzer during tomorrow in his bullpen session, he will be starting one of the three games.
Schneider during an interview on Foul Territory stated that Scherzer should be back on the mound for the Guardians series and joked that he is excited to Scherzer strangling him when he takes him out for the first time.

Scherzer was supposed to have a bullpen session today but the Blue Jays decided to give him an extra day of rest before testing out his thumb again.
