The Toronto Blue Jays will be kicking off their season at the end of the month on March 27th against the Baltimore Orioles but have yet to decide on who will be their starting pitcher.

For the most part, the Blue Jays starting pitchers have all looked great so far in Spring Training apart from Yariel Rodriguez who will likely end up in the bullpen this season or in the minors, at least to start the year.

The Blue Jays are still not sure who will pitch on Opening Day

The Blue Jays have yet to decide on who will be on the mound against the Orioles on Opening Day but it looks like Jose Berrios so far seems to be the top choice but they have yet to fully decide.

According to MLB insider Ben Nicholson-Smith, he spoke with Blue Jays manager John Schneider about who would start which it looks like a few pitchers are in the mix and Berrios is part of that group.

The Blue Jays have a lot of solid options to kick on their season at the end of March with Max Scherzer, Kevin Gausman and Chris Bassitt but many believe that the most likely options is between Scherzer and Berrios.

It's an interesting decision for the Jays, who are littered with veteran starters, including Berrios, Max Scherzer, Chris Bassitt and Kevin Gausman. -Farkas

Fans would likely love to mostly see either Gausman on Scherzer on the mound for the first game but since Gausman only pitched for the first time last week, it does not seem likely that he will be on the mound against the Orioles.
