The Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles are set to start the World Series tonight at 8pm Eastern, while there are plenty of storylines entering this series, there are several players such as Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, Freddie Freeman and Blake Snell that need to be talked about.

These players are going to make the true difference in the series between who wins and who falls short.

Several key players listed as difference makers in the World Series.

While we already know Shohei Ohtani and Roki Sasaki are going to perform, Sportsnet listed several players that will truly make the difference in this series. They are not under the radar by no means but still need to be discussed.
The most obvious one being Bo Bichette, he has yet to play a game in the playoffs due to a knee sprain, but the AL leader in hits can definitely make the biggest difference if he can return close to full form.
"If he can at all swing the bat, his ability to cover the plate might help drive up pitch count. That is going to be a vital part of the Blue Jays' offensive M.O. against the Dodgers' starters: erode their starters and force Roberts to manage his lousy bullpen earlier than he wants, especially now that his most trusted lefty, Alex Vesia, is away from the team due to a family emergency."-Sportsnet

Next is last years World Series MVP, Freddie Freeman, his clutch hitting last year in the postseason, especially the World Series is what put the Dodgers over the edge against the Yankees. If he can replicate that again the Blue Jays are in trouble.
Thirdly theres Vladdy Jr., not much needs to be said about him, it seems however he performs directly correlates to the outcome of the game, whenever he hit well the Blue Jays and vice versa when they lost. The offence lives and dies by him.
Lastly is Blake Snell, who has caused many problems for the Blue Jays in the past, he's an ace number one pitcher on any team except the Dodgers who have Ohtani and Sasaki. If he gets going, the Blue Jays will have a hard time getting on base.
"The Blue Jays were playing awfully well and three games up in the American League East when they went into Dodger Stadium and lost two of three games in August, including a 9-1 blitzing in which Snell struck out 10 batters and gave up three hits in five innings. He'll get the ball in Game 1 against 22-year-old Blue Jays rookie Trey Yesavage, who will be making his fourth start of the post-season after just three career regular-season starts."-Sportsnet

It will be a battle between two goliaths this World Series, one built on power hitting, and one built on phenomenal pitching. It's bound to be World Series that stands the test of time.
