Blue Jays part ways with 4 more players

Toronto's transaction log has been quite full in the month of November as the Blue Jays get ready to make quite a few major and minor league signings.

They had 5 more players elect free agency as Edinson Batista, Eddinson Paulino, Bobby Milacki, Alex De Jesus and Gabriel Martinez as decided to enter free agency.

So did Eddinson Paulino, Bobby Milacki, Alex De Jesus, Gabriel Martinez, and Edinson Batista

All of these players are minor leaguers that were expected to leave for free agency this off-season with only Batista being a bit of a surprise.

The Blue Jays acquired Batista back in April in exchange for Nick Robertson from the Houston Astros.

Batista spent the 2025 season with the Dunedin Blue Jays and Vancouver Canadians in which he finished with a combined 5.58 ERA in 61.1 innings pitched and 59 strikeouts.

While Ross Atkins already has a lot of work ahead of him when it comes to signing major league players, he will also have quite a bit of work when it comes to filling all these holes in their minor league system.
