The Toronto Blue Jays a brutal update on catcher Alejandro Kirk as he has been placed on IL due to a concussion.
Last night Kirk took a foul tip to the head which resulted in him leaving the game and being replaced by Tyler Heineman and it looks to be worst than first expected.

This is big problem for the Blue Jays as they don't have a lot of catcher depth in the organization which is why fans are hoping that this injury is not too serious for the time being, but it certainly does not look good as of right now.
Sanchez did well in his last time up but losing Kirk can certainly cause some serious problems for Toronto.
