The Toronto Blue Jays announced that Trey Yesavage will be making his next start surprisingly soon as it will come against the Kansas City Royals.

Yesavage had an incredible first game in the MLB as he pitched 5 innings, as he made MLB history with his 9 strikeouts in his MLB debut.

Blue Jays announce Trey Yesavage's next start

The Blue Jays announced the starting rotation for their series against the Royals as they will have Max Scherzer today, followed by Shane Bieber tomorrow and finally Yesavage will make his second start for the Blue Jays on Sunday.
#BlueJays projected pitching matchups vs KC

Max Scherzer (4.31 ERA) vs Michael Lorenzen (4.91 ERA)

Shane Bieber (3.72 ERA) vs Noah Cameron (2.98 ERA)

Trey Yesavage (1.80 ERA) vs Michael Wacha (3.79 ERA)
Blue Jays scheduled starters vs Royals:
Friday - Max Scherzer
Saturday - Shane Bieber
Sunday - Trey Yesavage
Bo Bichette will travel with the team to continue his rehab in Kansas City and Toronto
The most interesting part in all of this is that the Blue Jays were expected to put Yesavage in their bullpen after his first start but it looks like things have change due to his incredible performance.
If Yesavage delivers once again, there is a good chance that they end up moving someone else from their rotation to the bullpen.
Clearly Yesavage has done much better than anyone expected which is why he is forcing the Blue Jays to make some tough decisions.
