Yesavage was off to a hot start tonight as he impressed in the first inning with a fastball sitting around 96-96 MPH.
Fastball in the 95-96 range, a lot of strikes and competitive pitches, and worked out of the inning only giving up one run after back to back hits to start the inning
Absolutely loved what I saw from Yesavage in his first inning of work in the MLB

In the second inning he continued to impressed as he struck out two out of three batters which had everyone from the reporters to the fans very impressed.
Trey Yesavage's splitter is just incredible.
That's just one pitch and everything else will need to work around it, but he'll make some big-league hitters look foolish with it. #BlueJays

Yesavage ended up with a brilliant performance at the end of the night as he had a total of 9 strikeouts while only giving up 3 hits and 1 earned run in 5 innings pitched.
