The Toronto Blue Jays are just over two weeks away from Opening Day and while their roster still has a few questions marks, for the most part they seem to have their roster already set up.

The Blue Jays have been having a solid Grapefruit League season this Spring as they currently sit in first place with a 10-6 record since their offense has been humming on all fronts.

Blue Jays projected Opening Day roster announced

MLB insider Keegan Matheson recently announced the Blue Jays projected Opening Day roster this morning with a few surprises but nothing major.
For the starting pitcher rotations, there is nothing out of the ordinary as Bowden Francis will likely have the fifth spot with Yariel Rodriguez having a horrendous camp so far.
Kevin Gausman, José Berrios, Chris Bassitt, Max Scherzer, Bowden Francis
This is an impressive group of veterans, and beyond Francis, the Blue Jays will have Yariel Rodriguez preparing as a starter. This group is perhaps more reliable than dominant, but reliability is a beautiful thing in baseball. Consider the rotation a strength. -Matheson

For the infield, there is no real surprises as Vladimir Guerrero Jr will be at first, Andrés Giménez at second, Bo Bichette at shortstop, Ernie Clement and Addison Barger at third which is the biggest surprise.
Ernie Clement, Addison Barger
Clement was a Gold Glove finalist at this position last year, seizing the job after he spent much of spring battling for a roster spot. With a full camp to prepare as a near-everyday player, Clement should only benefit.

Wagner could see some time at third, but Barger has put together a nice camp so far. If the Blue Jays think Barger can hit righties, that could give him an early edge over someone like Orelvis Martinez. -Matheson

In the outfield the only real surprise is that Davis Schneider and Joey Loperfido will be in left field meaning that top prospect Alan Roden will be left of the roster for Opening Day.
Davis Schneider, Joey Loperfido
No. 5 prospect Alan Roden has put himself on the doorstep of this roster and a strong finish to camp could kick that door down but for now, it still feels like he'll start in Triple-A Buffalo where he can play every day for the first month or two. -Matheson

In centerfield will obviously be Daulton Varsho while Anthony Santander and George Spring will split the job in right field with Santander mostly placed as DH.
The bullpen is the one spot that is subject to change over the first few weeks of the seaosn due to injuries since they currently have Zach Pop listed in there but he will likely not last very long.
