Toronto Blue Jays fans are fed up with management after Ross Atkins most recent questionable decision

The Toronto Blue Jays fans have been quite upset with GM Ross Atkins over the past 24 hours after he traded for second baseman Andres Gimenez.
The Blue Jays made a massive trade yesterday with the Cleveland Guardians yesterday for second baseman Andres Gimenez and Nick Sandin for Spencer Horwitz and Nick Mitchell.
Blue Jays fans are upset with Ross Atkins over most recent decision
The Blue Jays are in need of some offensive help which is why so many fans are questioning the trade for Gimenez since he is not a great hitter at all with his best offensive season coming in 2022 with 17 homeruns and 69 RBIs.
Gimenez is an incredible defensive player which is why he has three Gold Gloves to his name but since this is not the player the Blue Jays needed to add, many do not think this was a good trade.

Gimenez will fit in well in Toronto.

The good news about this trade is that by trading Spencer Horwitz to the Guardians, the Blue Jays have freed up their DH spot meaning they might be looking into to make a big move for a player like Anthony Santander.
People seem to be confusing my disdain of this trade over what they gave up (Horwitz). It's not. I was the one clamoring to trade him in September when everyone else had him penciled in as their 2025 DH.
It's WHO they traded him for that I have a problem with.

Fans are sad to see Horwitz go but it seems like their main issue with the trade is that they did not acquire a player that can help them offensively.
