Toronto Blue Jays fans are feeling the pain even more over the past 24 hours regarding pitcher Roki Sasaki as he just had a phenomenal first start for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Blue Jays were seen as one of the top landing spots for international free agent Roki Sasaki this summer to the point where they even trade for additional international pool money but as usual ended up losing to the Dodgers.

After a round of meetings, the Blue Jays were reported as a finalist along with the Dodgers and Padres. That reporting solidified Toronto as a destination for Sasaki while also giving Blue Jays fans optimism that Toronto could finally nab a big name free agent. -Palattella
