Toronto Blue Jays former outfielder Alan Roden is in serious trouble with the Minnesota Twins
The Toronto Blue Jays sent outfielder Alan Roden to the Minnesota Twins at the trade deadline and things have been going terribly to say the least.
The Blue Jays acquired Louis Varland and Ty France and Ty France in exchange for Alan Roden and Kendry Rojas moments before the trade deadline hit on July 31st.
Former Blue Jay Alan Roden in trouble with the Twins as he continues to struggle
The Twins were big time sellers at the trade deadline this year getting rid of the majority of their roster as they are headed for a complete rebuild after a disappointing 2025 season.
Roden has played two games with the Twins so far including 6 strike outs in 10 at bats with only 1 hits and 1 run so far which is far from what Minnesota expected when the traded for the young outfielder.

While the sample size is miniscule, Roden could end up being in some serious trouble if he does not turn things around quickly.

Many believed that Roden would be getting a ton of playing time with the Twins since they traded away so many players at the deadline but if continues to play this way, they will not have a choice but to send him to the minors.
The good news is that Roden is still very young and has a lot of potential but with his struggles in Toronto followed by the struggles he is currently having in Minnesota, things do not look good.
